As we age fine lines i.e. wrinkles become more visible around the areas of facial expression i.e. forehead, frown area, corners of the eyes.
An anti-wrinkle injection is a neurotoxin which has been purified for cosmetic use, and can be injected into muscle. This injection results in temporary muscle paralysis creating the desired cosmetic effect of a smoother and more youthful skin appearance.

Common areas include the 3 'golden areas' i.e. forehead, frown lines and crow's feet. However treatment can also be administered superficially in the neck for a 'Nefertiti neck lift' and the armpits to manage excess sweating i.e. hyperhidrosis.

At Dr Bikram Clinics before any treatment is carried out a thorough medical consultation is undertaken to assess your suitability. You will have the opportunity to have any questions answered and discuss your treatment plan. Images will be taken before and after treatment for indemnity purposes and your clinician will mark areas for injection after cleaning the skin.
Small needles are used for these injections resulting in minimal pain. The procedure should take around 15 minutes, with the full effects visible within 14 days. After treatment an aftercare plan will be discussed and the results will last around 3-4 months.
